I began writing as a child. By the time I reached high school, I had a folder full of poems. I threw it away because I thought I had “outgrown” it. I had no idea what God was trying to do through me.(I’m not sure I know now! )
Years later, I wrote a poem I hope to add here soon, called, “Living Water.” It was about two pages long and I wrote it in about five minutes. It was then that I realized I had been writing poetry for quite some time. I got up from that finished work and went to the notebooks I had stored away. It was really more a box where I chunked bits of writings. I found in that box that day several completed poems. It was really a surprise to me!
I began sharing poetry and self-
Over the years, I began to put some of these poems to music. It took some time to learn when a poem was a prophetic word and when it needed to be presented as a song.
Most of my poetic writings now are in the form of lyrics.
As I continue to add to this collection I hope you are blessed, touched and stirred to spiritual action.
